Empowering the Most Vulnerable in Tigray

Community-Led Support for Those Who Need It Most

At ADOE (Alliance for Disabled, Orphans & Elderly), we believe that no one should be left behind. Rooted in community and guided by compassion, we work alongside local partners in Tigray to provide meaningful support to orphans, elderly individuals, and those living with physical or mental disabilities. Through financial assistance, vocational training, and grassroots collaboration, we help restore dignity and create pathways to a better future, together.

ADOE was founded by Tigrayan community members for the betterment of the people, by those who have lived and grown up in these communities.

Essential Care & Support

We provide financial and material support to orphans, elderly individuals, and those with disabilities through a trusted network of local partners in Tigray. Monthly or annual sponsorships ensure access to food, shelter, medicine, and essential care. Every donation goes directly to improving lives.

Pathways to Independence

We believe sustainable change starts with empowerment. ADOE facilitates vocational training, psychosocial support, and leadership development for caregivers and community members. These initiatives help people build skills, generate income, and regain independence.

Grassroots Partnerships

Our work is grounded in local knowledge. ADOE collaborates with three legally registered charities in Axum and Mekelle—Senay Elderly Care, Covenant Relief Society, and the Welfare Association of Abune Yohannes. These partnerships ensure transparency, accountability, and impact at the community level.

“With the support from ADOE, we have been able to serve our students better than ever.”
